I may, just may have broken my low carb diet for a piece. Or three.
I didn’t think it could get any better than my Bourbon Banana Bread. It did.

Chocolate Kahlua Banana Bread
Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 3 ripe bananas
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 Tb vanilla extract
- 2 Tb Kahlua
- pinch of kosher salt
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chunks or chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350.
- Cream butter and sugar with the paddle attachment in a standing mixer.
- Add the rest of the ingredients and blend on medium speed until smooth, about 2 minutes.
- Bake in a greased bread pan for 55 minutes.
- Slather with butter and eat it up!
